American Coalition for Police & Sheriffs PAC
A 527 Political Organization
The American Coalition for Police & Sheriff's PAC is a non-party political organization(not a charity) established and regulated under section 527 of the tax code. Americans need to push for the election of Candidates that support the efforts of our law enforcement officials and share the same agenda.
CONTRIBUTIONS ARE NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE
The American Coalition for Police & Sheriff's Political Action Committee is committed to advancing the working conditions of law enforcement officers by improving public opinion and promoting the election of politicians that support our nation’s law enforcement officers.
Many Americans are hurt to see calls to “Defund the Police” in newspapers and media across the country. More than ever we need to see increased funding from our government to keep our communities safe. Law enforcement professionals and supporters are joining together to push for legislation for increased funding and reforms to strengthen the criminal justice system.
There are anti-law and order groups who are doing all they can to hinder the police in the performance of their duties, some even advocating violence against law enforcement. Your police and sheriffs need the support of all elected officials, and the American Coalition for Police & Sheriff's PAC is working overtime to make sure pro-police legislators are elected.
With the continued support of good people like you, together we can push for tougher legislation to make our communities safer and to protect our police.
We need to educate legislators and candidates on the range of issues facing Law Enforcement.
Below is a list of some of those issues that need to be addressed by our elected officials.
Join us in Advocating for:
The passage of H.R. 3735 “Law Enforcement Suicide Data Collection Act” Officers are suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder at an alarming rate, way too often leading to suicide. H.R. 3735 will help to start to understand and hopefully prevent Law Enforcement suicide.
The passage of H.R. 1325 “Protect and Serve Act” would establish a new criminal offense for knowingly assaulting a law enforcement officer.
The passage of H.R. 2812 “Protecting America’s First Responders Act” This bill will help the families of officers that perish in the line of duty, by expediting the process of claims to the PSOB.
The passage of H.R. 2560 “Putting First Responders First Act” This bill will lighten the load on our disabled officers by making their service-connected disability tax-exempt. Officers disabled in the line-of-duty have already given enough to society without having to pay taxes on their far too often small disability checks.
